Time to go forward in Springtime

Time to change those clocks this weekend… Forward in the spring –  back in the winter.

Isn’t it amazing that when time is put forward most people look at the hour as though they have lost.

One hours less sleep and being annoyed or grumpy of having to get up earlier to take the kids to school and then on to work all can seem a little tiring with just the difference of one hour.

However I would like to remind those persons of the many things to look forward to…

  • Finishing a work day noticing it will still be light.
  • Soon you will be able to sit outside for a while.
  • What about looking forward to all those late night – but light night barbecues.
  • Socialising when you walk the path to your home and see a neighbour and at least say hello.
  • Sitting in the garden in the spring sunshine on your own taking a little space and time.
  • Even walking the dog becomes more of a pleasure.
  • Looking around and seeing all the spring flowers. Maybe just stopping and smelling them.
  • Looking forward to an Easter Holiday.
  • Even washing the car on a late evening can feel like a pleasure and one job done.

There are many things to look forward to when changing time. Adapt and change to time in a positive frame of mind.
